Fondant Color Powder
If you make your own marshmallow fondant, use our
pre-measured fondant color powder packets to
add color with less mess. Paste based dyes and gel
base dyes change the structure of fondant and
make it brittle, dry out, and tear easier.
Most fondant colors are now
available in DIY fondant
coloring powders.

Have you ever noticed that your marshmallow fondant
is a little “off white”? Bright white fondant color powder
will give you that bright wedding white. See more
information at how to whiten fondant.
Our color powders have no taste! Well, they taste like
powdered sugar. When using gels on a darker color like
black or red you can change the taste because you
have to use so much to get there.
Using a lot of gel can also mess up your fondant and
make it brittle, dry, crack, and tear easy. With our color
powders you will not have that problem.
Our fondant color powder packets have a very long
shelf life. Order several colors to have on hand and
they will be ready when you need them. Never again be
caught without the color you need.
No need to wear gloves! Gels are messy and stain
your hands and counter top. Fondant color powders are
absorbed into the fondant because the dye carrier is
powdered sugar instead of a gel or liquid additive.
Using pre-measured powder packets will give you the
color you want every time without guessing or having
waste because it went too dark or got too dry.
We have over 100 color powders and growing so you
can offer almost any color requested. Remember to join
our fondant club and get a discount code you can use
right away on your first purchase, just for trying.
See examples, pictures, and videos of just how easy it
is to use color powders on our instructions page how to
color fondant.
We appreciate your business!
We use a high quality 12x powdered sugar base
formula as the dye carrier which does not change the
structure of fondant since fondant is mostly powdered
sugar. Having pre-measured packets takes all of the
guesswork out of trying to get the exact color desired.
Gels are messy and dye your hands, counter surface,
and clothes when preparing. Our color powders absorb
easier because it’s powdered sugar carrier becomes
part of the fondant instead of a gel additive which can
change the fondant structure especially on the darker
colors like red and black.
